Marte Meo is a unique strength focused model of care, that uses video analysis to provide concrete strategies to identify, understand and support developmental progress in everyday interactions. For parents and carers, Marte Meo can help build deeper connections and better communication to support positive interactions. For professionals, Marte Meo is often used in disability, mental health, aged care, education/childcare and hospital settings. It can enhance your assessment, therapy and PBS to make meaningful, bespoke recommendations that will have positive outcomes.

About Danielle:
Danielle is the Founder and Director of Behaviour Support and Therapy, a registered NDIS provider, which she established in 2015, specialising in behaviour support, support coordination, therapy, counselling and clinical consultancy. See more about Behaviour Support and Therapy below. Danielle has been working as a Social Worker since 2003. She is a registered NDIS Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Psychotherapist, Accredited Marte Meo Therapist and reflective and clinical supervisor.
Danielle specialises in delivering episodic specialist behaviour support interventions that look at all elements of a client’s experience to provide holistic and practical solutions. She provides behaviour support strategies, individual therapy, training for key stakeholders, family and parent support tailored to individual needs. She employs a trauma-informed, client-focused model of care. Danielle shares her expertise and significant experience through the consultancy arm of the service, which provides professionals and organisations with services and support tailored to their unique needs and plans. Danielle offers professional development training, clinical review and supervision, Behaviour Support practitioner and Marte Meo practitioner/therapy training, registration and certification, as well as other support under the Consultancy Program. She is keen to explore partnerships or collaborations with other providers to improve client outcomes.
Prior to commencing as a Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner, Danielle had over a decade of experience in mental health including in community, inpatient and primary health settings. She delivered Better Outcomes, Headspace and Shared Care services, including as a private Better Access clinician. Particular areas of interest include perinatal and infant mental health, child and youth mental health and dual diagnosis (mental health and disability), challenging and complex mental health and/or behavioural presentations.
